Iginla absolutely deserves to go in before Alfie. Hurts me to say that as a Sens fan, but it's beyond obvious as a hockey fan.

Unless you mean Alfie on his 3rd try (is that where we're at now) deserves to go in before Iginla on his first try, in which case you may have an argument, but even then I probably disagree.

I think they are pretty close in terms of achievements. I agree that I'd give the nod to Iginla in a one-on-one but Alfie getting snubbed by the HHoF tells you all you need to know about how much of a joke the institution is.

Wouldn't call not making it the first couple of times around a snub. I certainly woulda had him in over Carbo, but I'd have 5-6 guys in who are waiting over him. As far as the career achievements we'll have to agree to disagree.

Thankfully I just heard on the radio that the Leafs don't have a first round pick this year (I think that's what they had to give up to get rid of Marleau's contract). If that's true, we can go back to rooting against them!

Dubas has been an unmitigated disaster. He was given the key to a very solid rebuild and pissed it all away.
