Well to each their own. I find the Kings plenty enjoyable. And I think we're more boring now than ever. I literally don't even think I'm a fan of the Rangers anymore. They inspire more feelings of hatred in me than anhthjng else.

It's ok, I understand lots of hockey fans like #toff and grind it out hockey. Who needs actual skill hockey? And the Rangers IMO in the regular season were more exciting than anything they had under Torts, they just couldn't finish. Now they just suck. Today's game was as exciting as a preseason game.

Which is always the theme of this team. Guess what, they don't give out extra credit goals for not being able to finish.

I like how you take that out of context. Did I say anything close to that sarcastic comment? I never said "they were good just couldn't finish". I said they were more exciting than under Torts but couldn't finish. They created more chances than ever under Torts. Yet you took "but couldn't finish" out of context and argue something I never disagreed with. Strawman at its finest.

You're right.

Honestly, I'm just a bit on edge after tonight's performance. I went to the game tonight, and was just frustrated as hell with this team's performance. Guess it's showing in my posts..

So because I'm poking a little fun at #toffness or whatever, you think it's perfectly all right to attack me personally? I'm not very bright? Have you ever met me? If I didn't have an infraction I'd tell you what I think of your opinion of me. Oh and I never said they don't have skill. They play a painfully boring game. Having skill players and playing a skill game are two different things. The Devils had plenty of skill too yet all Rangers fans are "OMG boring!".

Please, you're the one who responds to "to each their own" with a condescending diatribe of "it's okay, I understand most hockey fans just want toffness and who needs skill when you can just grind and grind", which in itself is basically an attack on anyone who doesn't agree with you. If we don't agree with you, we're just some dumb fans who only care about "toffness" and can't appreciate skill. As if I could give two rats about what you think of my opinion. You practically begged for it.

I never questioned anyone's intelligence. You're the one that mentioned intelligence. It was a bit of needling on part. Maybe even a bit condescending but I never called you "not bright". You never met me, who the **** are you?

If you just said, "please don't be condescending to me, I just have a different opinion", I would have probably said "you're right", maybe even apologized. But know you chose to get personal.

It's really not that personal. You chose to be a condescending ass after I said "hey to each their own", which doesn't belittle your opinion. You also spewed the played out toffness rhetoric and implied that LA had no skill. I made an inference based on that alone. It's really not so tough, and when you make 16,000 posts someplace in barely 2.5 years, I don't really need to meet you either, to hold a belief about you. If it hurts your feelings, don't go instigating in the first place, because honestly, the very last thing I care about is how I made you feel or what you think of me.

I'm not saying they don't have skill, I'm saying they don't play a skill game. I don't even know what "being bright" has to do with me not knowing that they don't have skill anyway (even though I said they don't play a skill game). Not knowing that a team is skilled or no skilled has nothing to do with intelligence. As far as my posts, this is a ****ing message board about the Rangers, you don't know what I'm like in real life. You thinking that you can know about my intelligence based on the narrow limits of me apparently not knowing the skill level of the Rangers or my posts that are on the limited topic of the Rangers, show a lack of logic and has a lot more to do with a lack of intelligence rather than someone's opinion of the ****ing LA Kings.

Oh and you didn't "hurt my feelings", you just went personal when I was just needling you. There's a difference between keeping it on topic and poking fun of your hockey preferences and flat out getting personal. I could have reported that post. But I see that my harmless post set you off, someone has a thin skin.

I think it's funny that you think this is someone "set off". I also think it's funny that you think it's illogical that someone might gauge a persons intelligence, somewhat, by reading thousands of posts by a person. There are so many ways in which you can get a general idea of a persons smarts by reading their thoughts without having to meet them in person, not that it's actually relevant. I didn't exactly go to some hardcore length and say you're some sort of insanely unintelligent goon. Saying someone isn't too bright if they can't tell (for example) that a certain team has a lot of skill is more a manner of speech than a literal commentary on your intelligence. Although failure to grasp that is just another means of potentially gauging actual intelligence; again, irrelevant. At the end of the day I really do not care though. Your "needling"'was annoying. I wasn't very nice. What a tragedy. It's almost as if this was the real world.

Whatever dude, if you didn't literally mean it, I overreacted. Though "failure to grasp" it means nothing. People often on these boards say **** like that seriously and it's dumb. Despite you apparently knowing everything about me and my 16k posts, I don't know you, I have no idea if you're exaggerating for effect or actually mean that based on your personality. Plus there is no body language or tone of voice to go by online. Whatever, it doesn't matter.

He was invisible for us half the time he was here. Where's our Kopitar for him to play with?

BTW, out of the actual good teams I can't stand watching LA. They're a less successful version of the San Antonio Spurs.

Gabby played two postseasons with us! In 10-11, five games 1-1. And twenty games in
11-12 5-6, while playing with a torn labrum! I hardly call that disappearing.

At least that heavenly blessed beauty Chantel McBabe is back doing the game recaps. When will it be my turn for a hockey loving girlfriend?

Not sure Laviolette is the right hire for Nashville. He loves run and gun, Nashville hardly has the talent for that.

He's a great coach however, interested to see what he could do with these players.

If LA is boring I will watch and root for boring every day of the damn week. Really good chance to come out of the West and then some. Winning >>> Pretty.

Actually, now that I think about it.

Laviolette played a very aggressive push the pace system, that got defensemen involved like crazy. If there's anything Nashville does have, it's an aggressive and puck moving D. This might be a better hire for them than I thought.

This boring to watch stuff is absurd, especially since it consistently comes from some of the least knowledgeable fans on this board.

You know whats fun to watch? Watching your team willing to run through a brick wall for a win.

Also the Preds have Rinne to bail out team if defenders get too aggressive

Never had anyone like that in Philly or even Carolina (Ward was to up and down)
