I am so amazed when I watch this series, or some others involving western teams.
Just looking at the talent out there tonight in this Kings-Ducks game, and in the previous Kings-Sharks, and watching the real Blackhawks that got into gear once the post-season arrived, wow.
The display of talent puts the Rangers in perspective. I think I can say that the Bruins at least belong in a SCF against top western teams, but I cannot think of another Eastern team I would say that about. Not even close.

This game is a treat, just like watching Chicago.

I love watching playoff hockey. This game is great, as was game one. We should really try playing some playoff hockey ourselves one day.

I know that compared to that glorified preseason game earlier today everything looks good but does anyone actually enjoy watching the Kings play? I don't care that they have some skilled players, 99% of their games are boring as ****. Seeing Kopitar make a pretty play or Gaborik snipe doesn't make up for the rest of the garbage.

I love watching the Kings play and don't find them boring at all. Quick makes exciting stops and they play with tons of intensity and up their games in the playoffs. They are pretty exciting IMO.

I don't get it. I watch the Hawks and it's the Mona Lisa. The Kings are a Jackson Pollack. They're not even fun when they're on the offensive end. They just grind and grind. Can someone explain why the Devils were "boring" but the Kings are exciting? Is it because the Devils are a rival. There is just no offense in any of the games they play, from either side. Once in a while there's a nice play by the Kings. But all they do is grind and grind. The day become irrelevant again will be a good day for hockey.

Add up the skill of Jonathan Quick, an Anze Kopitar, a Marian Gaborik, a Drew Doughty, a Justin Williams, an Alec Martinize, there are others.

Lots of skill there.

Edit: spelling

The Kings are scoring about the same number of goals per game as the Hawks. Did a Rangers fan just accuse them of having "no offense"? I like the Hawks better for sure, but I enjoy watching LA plenty.

First of all, I'm talking about real teams what does me being a Ranger fan have to do with anything? And they score, but their style of play is excruciating to watch. All they do is grind all game.

But they play a grinding game, not a skill game. It's excruciating. The San Antonio Spurs also have talent. They're basically the San Antonio Spurs minus being a dynasty.

Watching us get shutout in back to back games is far more excruciating and watching a hard working team out work their opponent and grind out victories, kind of like the first in the east, ECF Rangers of a few years ago. Were they excruciating or were you proud of them?

I wish the Rangers could be like the Kings. We'd have a cup, and coming back from being down 0-3 to winning a series. Also, actually being able to win consecutive games.

I was both proud of them but they were also excruciating, especially in the playoffs. That team was boring as all hell to watch. Though the Kings are better than that team. Hard work is nice if you're a fan of the team. I don't give a **** about how hard the Kings work. I watch them for my viewing pleasure and grinding out victories is boring as all hell. I know Dallas sucks (relatively to the big dogs), but you watch the Anaheim-Dallas series and you watch this, night and day.

Ok, what's your point? Be it as it's not the Rangers but a random team in LA, I think they're boring and would prefer teams that don't bore me to win.

Always been a fan of Saku Koivu I'm happy he has had a nice long successful NHL career. Not bad for a tiny Fin center.

Well to each their own. I find the Kings plenty enjoyable. And I think we're more boring now than ever. I literally don't even think I'm a fan of the Rangers anymore. They inspire more feelings of hatred in me than anhthjng else.
