They interviewed Dubinsky on the NHL Network earlier and he credited Jim Schoenfeld with instilling in him that he had to develop a defensively-sound style of play in order to succeed in the NHL... Something along those lines (I'm paraphrasing)....

Was just about to come into this thread and post that. We always complain about the Rangers, but I don't think they have ever missed a sure goal THAT BADLY.![]()

Scott Norwood would be proud.
Just felt like posting this:
Dude was a 1st overall pick and this is his most memorable play, scratch that only memorable play.
That was NOT a surefire field goal though.

It's one of the greatest things I have ever seen.
Just jokin', dude.![]()
I'm not upset over it, it's just that it's a common misconception that it was a chip shot. Norwood was not very good from that far out.
Tremendous. When the rangers aren't losing, snow, you're good for a golden post.
I just realized that the Sharks and Kings are playing after this. Playoff time in the NHL is just amazing. I love football, maybe more than hockey, but the playoffs don't even compare.
Frankly, nothing compares to the NHL playoffs. Football playoffs come close, but I think the NHL playoffs are even more intense.
Does this game feel like it's just a matter of time for Boston, or is that just me?
