Really pulling for Minnesota here. Bunch of players on that team I really like.

Parise (now that he's not a Devil)
Suter
Pominville
Brodziak (really was hoping he'd get the UFA two years ago)
Niederreiter (to troll the Islanders)

and yeah, I like Bryzgalov too.
 
Rooting for the Wild for 3 reasons:

1) Blackhawks won last year and in 2010. Wild have no Cups and I'm all about sharing and caring.
2) Devils fans HATE Parise so when he's doing well they are unhappy, which makes me happy.
3) Patrick Kane is a frat bro tool, who was awful for USA in the Olympics. Anyone bad for America is bad for me.

I agree with all of that.
 
Is "show time" a Blackhawks slogan for the playoffs, or was Kane just chest thumping by saying it after the goal? Either way, that was pretty awesome. Wonder what his (and Toews's) next contract will look like.
 
Kane's goal is probably tops in my highlight reel for the season so far. Just seeing him think it out and take liberties with the defence, and that shot. Everything so fast and fluid, and that shot, that shot.

He stick handles through traffic and comes out ahead of the pack with the puck. Almost every time. Probably the best offensive player right now.

That's just Kane being Kane. He's my favorite non-Ranger. Wish he could have played like this in the Olympics. Kid is just so skilled and fun to watch.
 
how was that not holding or something against Chara? he had his arm around subban for about 15 seconds.
 
Can someone here explain NHL playoff scheduling? The Rangers play 5 games before Bos/Mtl's game 5, same day as Chi/Min 4th and a day before Ana/LA's 4th game. They are the only team with a back to back in the foreseeable future. What gives?
