Yeah, we had about as many idiot attention-seeking cavemen on Twitter as they did. I just have a hard time ever thinking that one sports fanbase is substantively different from another, at least in terms of moral questions.

Malcolm's career might be interesting to follow. If he has a rough start there, I can see it getting ugly - but because he's PK's brother, not because he's a black dude.

How much of a shot can he expect to even get in Boston? Rask isn't exactly old.
 
That was a pretty good road game from the Habs. I fell asleep after OT1, but the third period was ALL Bruins, and they did a good enough job weathering the storm to get to OT, and finally get the win.

How many chances did the Bruins just absolutely choke in that third period though? Not even saves Price made, but posts, missed shots, whiffs, etc... wow. Thought I was watching the Rangers for a second.

Subban is such an easy guy to hate. He flops, whines, sometimes floats. I think it's actually harder to LIKE him.

Off the ice, he seems cool, but on the ice, he's a joker.

This has got to be some kind of dream for the NHL, 4 original 6 left in round 2, major markets New York, Los Angeles AND Anaheim, Chicago, and Boston are in it, crazy hockey town Minnesota, and Bettman's Mascot Penguins

This is almost the absolute best case scenario for the NHL

I never understood why people need to throw the racism charge around at every opportunity. Sidney Crosby gets way more hate than Subban. Is that racism too? Society has really managed to water down a really evil problem.

Trading for him isn't really relevant. I'd trade anyone on our team for Crosby, does that mean I like the guy?

Agreed. You'd love him if he was on your team, just like most other guys with that kind of swagger in their game.

However, I think he throws his fair amount of cheapshots. There was one play last night where Eriksson came in off the wing and took a shot as Subban was sliding by. Eriksson tried to jump over him, and Subban actually stuck his leg up in the air to trip him and sent him flying into the boards at full speed. Very dangerous and extremely dirty, IMO.

However, that being said, the raw talent is undeniable.

I think calling out the fact that a small sliver of the population hates Subban because of the way he looks is not only necessary, but accurate.
 
I dont know about everyone else but I hate Subban because he's a a diving, slew-footing, arrogant tool. He's not easy to root for as a neutral fan.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head. I would still hate him if he looked like Marc Staal. But, most people like to assume that everyone hates him for racial reasons.
 
I would love Subban or Simmonds on the Rangers.

Alot of Boston fans are idiots

Subban is good but we don't have a player like Simmonds at all. Beniot is trying and he is having a good season but its now doubt that Simmonds is much much better at everything except being fast.
