So you agree they were tough and Torts let them play that way? Aren't you contradicting yourself?

no you're not paying attention. I said Prust and Dubinsky were the only players that fought. we stood up for ourselves, or at least those guys stood up for the team...

we would never initiate physicality the the pens did at the end of the 2nd in order to set a tone. that is the context of my posts...

since you're focusing so much on last year's team of bruisers, we were nearly knocked out by Neil and Carkner alone...

We only made it out of that round because of krieder, because...
wait for it... we couldn't score...

The myth of our ECF run needs clarity...

The Pens downfall if they have one is always between the pipes. if you can score 2 or 3 you will beat them with a good goalie

Vokoun certainly didn't have the best game. But this game wasn't lost because of him. Pens D couldn't hinder Boston's transition game at all.

Your original post was that Torts didn't let players "play tough", think we've disproved that. God knows what we are arguing now, but it's not that so I'll let it go.

I'm well aware of why we beat the Sens and Caps

Main board is talking about how the Pens get thrown off their game easily, and blaming the coaching.

I'd blame the fact that their captain is a loser, and a bad leader. You shouldn't pick captains based on who the best player is.

I hate the guy too, but, come on. He has a cup. He's not a loser.

I think the Pens have learned in this game they can't physically match Boston. So, I expect Pens to start trapping next game.

Expect this series to turn into a low scoring affair based around special teams.

nope, didn't write that. go back and read it. you've disproved nothing.

you'd do best to let it go.
