This season is a nightmare. Every team in the Metro refuses to lose. The Edmonton loss could literally cost home ice in the first round or even a playoff spot.

BTW, does anyone still think LA is better than us? 13 shots on goal. The Rangers can get that in friggin 15 minutes. The BJ defense isn't all that great either IMO. Last game we played we could have scored 6 goals if not for Varlamov. I know the Kings are big and scary but they're completely inept offensively. They make the Devils look exciting.

The highest seed LA has finished in the last 3 years is 5th. They don't scare me. They got hot at the right time and won the cup.

The standings are a mess. 1 crap Loss tonight and everyone gains. Could have been close to 3rd now closer to 8th

BJ's? Varlamov? Pretty sure Varlamov plays for the Avs
You're thinking bobrovsky you russian racist :sarcasm:

Hank Sedin out of the OGs for Sweden. John Tortorella is haunting me.

First he sends the Rangers in the wrong direction during 3.5 years.

Then he destroys Sweden's chances in the OG's.

Yeah, there goes Sweden's opportunity for gold. Don't have the depth at C to compete with the top teams. Oh well, hopefully they medal and Hank and Hagelin have good tournaments.

Get well Kris Letang, damn. That can't be pleasant for him or his family to go through.

Teddy Bruschi of the pats had a stroke during his playing career. He eventually came back.

Yes - although with football players you always wonder if there's something extraneous involved. (Not saying there necessarily was in Bruschi's case, just that it's a legitimate question when you hear these things.)

Could be genetically predisposed.

Yup, they're saying that he's had a tiny hole in his heart since birth.

bruschis wiki page said his was caused by a tiny hole in his heart since birth FWIW.

Flames close to signing 24 year old winger David Wolf

Wolf certainly fits the hoped-for mould — 24 years old, six foot two, 216 pounds, 144 penalty minutes (and 37 points) in 42 appearances on behalf of the Hamburg Freezers of the Deutschen Eishockey Liga.

yea its hard to find wingers with size that play a physical game, only for the management of the Rangers.
