Darren Pang just said something very interesting. to build good depth, it is important to have a winning atmosphere throughout the whole organization including the minor league level especially at the AHL level so its easier for prospects when they get called up to just go out and play. they play with more confidence when called up....

That ain't happening with Ken "Company Man" Gernander at the reigns!

That's obvious and goes without saying, but not every team can be a winning team unfortunately. Which probably says a lot about either the prospect pool, or team management or both.

So the league took the pens loss so hard that they just put "panthers FORWARD scores twice" on the NHL headline

Can't even come to grips to write the poor kid's name :sarcasm:

Could be true, and this is several years old memories, but IIRC when Detroit and NJs feeder systems were out of this world, their farm teams sucked a lot.

can someone tell me if the devils are for real or are the blues just playing horrifically tonight?

I like how Nick Bonino said "it's hard to track eastern teams" when asked about Winnipeg and their coaching change.

that is pretty funny... i find it funny when the players "tonight we have to be patient with puck" when its a day game...

Eh, that's just force of habit. Sounds like Bonino didn't know how to answer the question and just blabbed the first thing that came to his mind. Whatever, he's on a team that is a cup favorite and I'm wasting my time rooting for a team that THINKS they're a cup favorite but are a bubble team.
