Going by the standings, I really should be cheering for the Islanders, but **** them.

3 of our next 5 are against them. Don't let them take a single point, and put them back in their place, below Florida

the Isles sure have a knack for taking stupid penalties. Just no 3-point ******** here, please.

He's okay. Definitely a stand out because the Islanders are an absolute joke on defense. On this team, he'd be our #5, to put it in perspective. Has a similar skillset to Conor Allen.

That's funny because they pump up DeHaan to be some offensively capable defenseman, while Allen is more of a stay at home, solid defenseman with limited offensive upside.

Isn't their 1st round pick Top 10 protected this year? Would be amusing if they miss out on 2015, which looks to be a good one.

He's definitely got the potential to be offensively capable, how he's playing right now reminds me of Allen. He's pretty good at everything. Should be a 30-40 point guy in his prime.

I see de Haan's upside a bit higher, fwiw. With Tavares in his prime an de Haan their PPQB and first pairing defender, he could peak at around 45-50.
Tied. Now please go on and win this NYI.

A future point pairing of Pulock-deHaan will be terrifying.

no idea what the Flyers did there, with the Isles' goalie beaten. How do you not score there?

so guess is, Tavares-Vanek-Nielsen for the Isles and Giroux-Raffl-Couturier for Philly? Usually, with those 3 guys, you should fee good as an Isles fan. But dat goaltending.
