I’m a believer in building for within. So far, none of the puck trades have really worked all that well for Tre (besides the Hamilton trade), and I don’t see why we should sell our future rn either.

I mean, when's the last time Treliving has actually traded for a legit top talent, outside of the Hamilton trade?
He was really on dealing in top pairing/top line players in the Hamilton deal both times, and both times we ended up ahead.

Exactly, yet we’ve burned through picks these last few years anyway. I’d rather save them for a legit and young talent that actually fits the needs of this core. Outside the Hamilton trade, Tre has bungled that again and again with the picks, and we can’t afford to waste anymore. Happy we stayed away from this one.

I know you hate Hamonic and everything... if you remove him trying to fix the goaltending situation he's moved mostly 3-7th rounders for playoff help. You do those trades every time if it helps.

Guys like Stone helped us get in a few years back. Guys like Fanta were great stabilizers for the playoff push.

I don't value late rounders for much. If you can upgrade your roster you do it every time. Hell, even the Hamonic trade is a complete unknown. IT'd have been great to have a first rounder there, but who knows what we were planning on taking at that draft; last year Hammer was a big part of being the second best team in the league during the regular season.

IF you can add a true star at the cost of the 20th overall or lower... I mean... LOL.

Late round picks in isolation, aren't worth much.

It's all about the number of dice you've got. With enough dice you'll roll a 6. If you give away all your dice for band-aids though, it's a lot harder to win the board game.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

What the hell game is played with dice and band aids?

I found an unwrapped band-aid on my way to work today and I feel like I won the jackpot.

I don't know why I am asking... but before you felt like you won, did things feel... dicey?

You’ve never played Dungeons & Band-Aids?

That sounds like a Tetanus styled Russian Roulette game. :ha:

Don't ask how II plays strip poker.

I was originally thinking a game similar to BANG! The dice game... but the band aids threw me off. And now you're saying it's a kinky game? :help:

No bandaids in Bang, just beers. Kind of like hockey.

He’s the only guy I’ve seen from the next wave with the ability to take over a game like Mack and McDavid. Obviously he doesn’t do it nearly as often as they do, but when he’s on he’s incredible to watch

Krueger seems to be getting a lot more consistency out of him this year. Buffalo is some forward depth away from being a really good team

Eichel also seems to be heavy about winning as a team. He's constantly working with other teammates on plays and strategies as well, because he doesn't want to be the guy "Who did it all, except win".
