I tried to go then and I contacted the ticket box and they got back to me the day after the game. Lol

Was trying to go with a group of 12 and via ticket master it was 50 a ticket.
Alright, partial redemption then. What does an AHL seat generally cost? I used to go to ECHL games, they were a bargain, and the bar had great sight lines.

Rags.... groan.
Thank you Minnesota.

Anyway, clearly Columbus will get Bedard, because the NHL needs the Metro to be harder….
Not sure if that is better or worse than the Blackhawks. Ugh.

Two teams I'd hate to see get the 1st overall more than a Metro team:
1-Blackhawks because of their 2010 cover-up and overall shittiness
2-Arizona because f*** that team for not even trying to be anything but a laughing stock and Bettman allowing it to happen. A team that doesn't even try to be relevant doesn't deserve Bedard.

Yeah, those would both suck as options, as well as Columbus and Philly. I'm not trying to see a once-in-a-decade talent land with a rival.

Pretty much anyone else I would be okay with, at this point. Bedard in SJ or Anaheim would be cool, though the latter have plenty of talent moving forward already. I think the best option would be Vancouver, because of the hometown connection, a rivalry with McDavid in Western Canada, their search for a first cup, etc. I know their fans annoy the crap out of many people, but they've never had a true phenom talent like that since Bure. I feel like even the Sedins were pretty low key stars.

Either way, the kid looks like an absolute franchise-centerpiece stud. His playmaking at the WJC was magnificent, and he almost looked bored at times with how easily he was tearing through teams.

Sprong to Tanev lol…

Look at that hustle from Sprong. That's what a player that's happy playing for a coach looks like.

The fact that they cheated to get Bure, I'm ok with Arizona winning it and laughing at them a little longer.

Every single time I see this I think people are referring to our province.

Stop naming your cities after our provinces, you weirdos.

The dudes who found it named after where they were from. Same reason there's Pittsburgs in Kansas and California.

That said...the first time I found out that there was a place called Ontario in California was when they got the Reign and I was baffled as to why a friggin' ECHL team would try to lay claim to a province that massive and I still have to remind myself that it's just the Inland Empire. Nobody refers to those cities by their actual names, but Ontario tries really f***ing hard to be a name and it's never going to not feel weird. If only Rancho Cucamonga had built an arena instead.

Still a more logical reason for that name than there is for California, PA simply being founded in 1849

I don't know. Arizona has tried. Just nothing goes their way.

I actually would rather see Arizona get Bedard. We joke about the arena situation but the city doesn't play ball and didn't until recently. But outside of that dipshit Miller thing, I don't mind them. They lost out on Matthews, Mcdavid, Eichel, etc. They've hired a lot of bad people as well.

The last part is very self inflicted and they continue to do that.

Yeah, it'd be cool.
