Jeez I feel for Gibson. He doesn't look like he wants to be there but won't ask to be moved either. If Jarry isn't in the Pens future plans, I'd be fine moving him and Dumo for Gibson.

Love Philly this year. Just good enough to probably not get a franchise player in the draft.
I enjoy that too. Torts would never tank and I think Fletcher thought the team sucked just enough where it didn't matter and yet he's getting enough good out of them to fall out of the top 10 pick.

So naturally all Fletcher can do is trade players and make it harder to win. Hence the Provorov and JVR rumours.

Gourde didn't have an awful first year for the Kraken after his shoulder surgery (70+ games) for Seattle, this year his goals are way down but his assists are great. Matty B, after a handful of games at the end of last season, may not be "generational" whatever the hell that means, but he is looking great so far and seems born to be the face of the franchise. Bjorkstrand has really not played close to expectations this year, I loved Seattle taking advantage of CBJ in that deal and thought he would be more impactful vs 6 goals and marginally less offensive impact than even Tanev. He's due a hot spell.

Kraken does have four very balanced lines and a quite competent PP. Sadly, Seattle is STILL utterly devoid of a #1 G. Gru is horrible, just like last year. Jones is serviceable at best, but better than Gru. They're winning more this year because they are averaging nearly a goal/game more than the inaugural season. Who knows if Dreidger will even get on the ice this year?

Very interested to see how they stack up against Boston Thursday night. If they maintain pace and make the playoffs, they're arguably the second most successful expansion team based on early results in the modern era, though the Panthers may have a say in the discussion. I thought Hackstol seemed like a poor choice at the time, but it turns out maybe Ronnie might know a few things about hockey.

Yeah I think their goaltending is what is holding them back. To think they win even with Swiss cheese in net.

It's crazy that all 3 goalies have an NTC or MNTC. I think Driedger would have had a rebound year but tearing your ACL in the World's and being out 7-9 months is rough. He's better than the other two idiots they have in net.

Typical low IQ Sprong play too

You don't like blindly throwing pucks near the net?

Most of the former Pens players under Sullivan play better on other teams than under him…Lafferty just scored him 5th goal tonight too as well as ERod lol

Bruin pull G with 5 mins left

Seattle proves me right once again!

I don’t think they play “better” they are just given chances to produce.

I’ve said it for years. Sidney Crosby is the worst part of Sullivan’s coaching. His strategy is get Sidney Crosby out there.

Jones is horrible.

Had the Kraken signed Ullmark, they'd be a top-3 team in the NHL this year.
G is clearly the biggest issue for Seattle. Jones is coming off two shutouts, and he looks better than he did in the final months in San Jose, but his ceiling is likely .900 at best and still delivers some stinkers. Gru's albatross contract was Ronnie's biggest mistake to date. They've got over $9MM committed to goalies not even counting Jones.

Until you post pics from a game in Coachella Valley, I will recognize you as the Kraken hater you are... I was counting on you when Wright did his brief visit, but nope, we got nothing.

I tried to go then and I contacted the ticket box and they got back to me the day after the game. Lol

Was trying to go with a group of 12 and via ticket master it was 50 a ticket.
