Savoie is in a different situation than Wright.

Wright CHL games played:
19-20 - 58
20-21 - 0 [COVID]
21-22 - 74
22-23 - 24

Wright got credit for 20-21 because the OHL took the whole year off. The waiver was about how he was 1 GP below the 25 GP threshold last year.

Savoie CHL games played:
19-20 - 22
20-21 - 0 [COVID and he played in the AJHL & USHL and skipped the short WHL season]
21-22 - 75
22-23 - 81

I believe that Savoie would need to get credit for both 19-20 and 20-21 despite not playing 25 games in 19-20 and skipping the WHL season in 20-21. I doubt they get that to happen.

It seems like a natural thing when trying to get to know people. I've been asked for pictures at work and it was never a weird thing.

Ask to show or do you want to share or show us is another. They should have a choice which seems they really didn't even though they are adults.

You were not in the room, so I do not know why you are saying they did not have a choice. The players that are going on the record are not saying that it was "hand over your phone or else" like it is being framed.

Columbus captain Boone Jenner followed saying Babcock “asked if I had pictures of my family, and I was happy to share some with him. He showed me pictures of his family. I thought it was a great first meeting and good way for us to start to build a relationship. To have this blown out of proportion is truly disappointing.”

You’ll hear his full comments on a Wednesday drop of the 32 Thoughts podcast, but at the NHL-NHLPA media tour, Johnny Gaudreau backed Jenner.

"It was (Babcock’s) way of kinda getting to know me, and I got to get to know him," the winger said. "I wasn't uncomfortable at all. I was showing him pictures of my family. If I had (a) problem with it, I would've been like, 'I don't think I'm comfortable with that.' But I had no problem with it.”

Asked if any teammates indicated to him they were uncomfortable, Gaudreau replied, “Not a single person.”

NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said that initial reports to the league weren’t “remotely similar” to what was alleged, while the NHLPA indicated it continues to investigate the allegation.

I think that is likely why Biz put it out there. He knew so many people would not question the source when they could get the pitchforks out for Babcock.

I'll take the players at their word over Biz.

I don't like Babs for what he pulled of with the sabres but Biznasty and Mike Commodore are not exactly trustworthy people either.

Maybe put them all in one room and see who survives, there should be only winners.

I love the Sabres and Hockey....but the escalating expansion fees/franchise values are going to bubble HARD. Most teams aren't profitable and require escalating franchise values to stay afloat.
