Love the Hughes brothers. Got to watch all three at the NTDP. Great to see they still spend their summers in the area and train at USA Hockey Arena.

Donskoi does finally retire. Great grinder, sad to see his health has pushed him out of the game.
Getting Pettersson would be a wet dream, would probably require trading them Cozens+ or something insane. Probably would be worth it honestly.

AFP has an extension for EPete being 8x$10M+ AAV.
Having Dahlin and EPete jumping up to $10M+ each next season would be challenging to navigate with Power needing a new deal next summer and all the kids that will be coming off of their ELCs.
Some of the kids would be going in this hypothetical. So there is that.

True, but the kids that have been rumored to be going are not any that might see a major raise in the next year or two.
At the end of the day, I would be surprised if Adams were open to moving a bunch of futures right now.
If it were me, I would probably try and make the deal center around Mitts+Krebs+[picks and/or prospects] as I would not want to move Tage from between Skinner and Tuch and just go with Tage, EPete, & Cozens as the top 3 centers.

If Pettersson was truly available, the Sabres stockpile of forward prospects should be enough to get it done. I'd be willing to give up a lot. Getting a #1 center with his skillset doesn't come along often.
