I mean, what can you really do? We all knew we were sending him to a cup favorite. It sucks, it really does. But hopefully we'll get our own reason to cheer from the trade, too.

I’m just glad they sucked last year. Although had the return been Tuch, Whitecloud, 1st & 2nd I’d prefer that.

At least Whitecloud and Thompson are gonna get Cups. Two free agents they signed who I really like.

No disrespect to Jack, who has been a driver for his team and absolutely evolved as a player, but I have a hard time seeing Eichel win the Conn Smythe over Marchessault based on the games I have viewed, though I have admittedly not seen every game.

I think his injuries have tanked his game- used to use solid skating to make up for defensive flaws, now the skating is gone and he looks awful.

Thoughts on the 2nd “goal”? Whistle went, but I hate that rule anyways. I’m more pissed that Jack poked it out when Bob had it covered. Bob knew where it was, purposefully fell on it, just wasn’t in position to get his hands on it. You aren’t supposed to be able to just knife under the goalie like that. Anyone see it differently?
