2 and a half weeks to go till the trade deadline. Race in the West continues but little movement in the East.

Lightning over the Sens puts them back at the #2 position in the conference
Columbus beat the Devs but are still 8pts out of a wildcard.
Jets stopped the Habs win streak at 5. Still 6 pts out of a Widlcard
Avs came back to beat the Isles. They are running away with the West. 14Pts separate them from the Blues and the Flames. Put a fork in the Isles. 17Pts out of Wildcard.
Knights pull within 1 pt of the Kings in the Pacific with a win over the Sharks. Sharks now 9 out of the Wildcard
Oilers shutout the Flyers pulling ahead of the Stars for the 8th spot Wildcard.
Wings beat the Canes. They are still 9 pts out of the Wildcard.
Flames beat up on the Wild. They are now 5pts ahead of Kings for 1st in the Pacific.
Ducks beat the Bruins. They are 2pts behind the Oil for the last Wildcard spot but have 2 games in hand.

Those of you proclaiming Ovenchicken losing his CCM endorsement is unfair, I highly encourage you to read this (read the entire thread):

Ban him from the league. I'm fully prepared to catch a perma ban for this. It was a nice run.

Not even CHRIS Simon got banned after the Hollweg baseball swing.

CCM said every Russian player. Hopefully Shesterkin doesn’t get the same treatment by another company following suit. Its not right.

and yeah, I guess this should be discussed elsewhere. My apologies for posting off- topic.
This is truly some bigoted shit.

Mind blown at how quickly the mob looks to destroy a group or demographic of people. Isn't this the exact opposite of what everyone preaches? or is it OK because the 'authorities/powers that be' promulgate it?

Scary.

To be clear, I don't support CCM banning all Russian athletes from appearing in their ad campaigns. That is indeed bigoted and stokes the flames even more.

What I do have a problem with is a certain one of them spreading false propaganda with ramifications that are especially poignant today.

Ovi I get because him being a shill is on him but the others being punished for his actions is silly.

Zegras scores with 21 seconds left...

Ducks beat Bruins 4-3 in regulation. There was no shenanigans from the rat.

If we're banning/canceling people who called another group fascist, where would that leave half of this country?

The entire country for that matter.

I understand the National team bans (Fifa is removing Russia from the game), but individual citizens might be much (though Ovi can go get fcked)

u don't know what u talking about. sorry.
(ie calling half of the americans fascists in comparison to Russia's populace. unfortunately.)
wat?

I have no clue what you're talking about but I know what I'm talking about

Tage Thompson, 7 goals in his last 6 games, 9 in his last 10, now at 40 points in 50 games. Took off after being switched from W to C mid season.

Stars beat the Kings last night. They are hanging onto the last wildcard in the West. They won 3 of their last 4 games. This is the 2nd loss in the row for the Kings who previously were on a 5 game tear beating Isles, Ducks, Coyotes 2x and the Knights.

Kracken beat the Preds last night. 2 losses in a row for the Predators. The race in the west still remains super tight. 4 points separate Kings, Knights, Preds, Stars, Oilers, Ducks. Canucks still in it, but 5 pts out of the last wildcard.

Ducks still have a chance but they have to take care of business at home the next 2 games. Losing to Seattle and the Islanders at home really hurt them, would be in a playoff spot now. Can't lose those games to struggling teams, need to get at least a point in those. But they have no star power like a lot of the teams in the league do, so it's pretty remarkable they are still hanging in there.

Their trade deadline is going to be interesting. They are kinda in between the lines of Seller and Buyer. But if they cannot lock up their pending UFA's which I believe they want to keep them all, they have to move them, and could get a kings ransom during this TDL if teams get desperate.
