Montreal is playing out of their minds against the Leafs

Lol the Islanders had a window of 2 fake seasons

remember, every year of the past 5, they started out very strong, but faded as the year went on. Luckily for them, both of the previous 2 seasons were cut short.

let’s call a spade a spade. They were massively over achieving

Seeing the difference in Caufields game since Marty has come in does make me wonder what if Kakko and Laf had that kind of coach developing them instead of Quinn
it is so so early to start asking those kinds of questions, but replace Marty with anyone who could "tune" into Laf and Kakko and I weep a bit.

I’m watching the last few nights and I will stand by it, aside from Florida and Carolina, I like our chances. Toronto is a team everybody touts, meanwhile their goaltending stinks. Florida’s has even been inconsistent. Minnesota is struggling with Ottawa. Rangers May need 5v5 upgrades in offense, but their goaltending and gamebreakers are dangerous.

Was just thinking this. If the Rangers can get by Carolina, either straight up or someone else beats them, they can win the Cup. Tampa & Florida are destined to meet in the Atlantic finals and whoever survives that bloodbath will be ripe for the picking by the Metro winner. My personal hot take is that Vegas/Colorado both do not make the Finals. Nashville/St. Louis/Minnesota/Calgary is a much more difficult field to get through than the Eastern Conference field

People act like we suck. The 5v5 numbers need to improve but they absolutely can with better offensive talent in the bottom six, specifically, the third line.

Leafs lose to JF Berube a night after losing to Montreal. Washington’s goaltending stinks. Florida plays a run and gun regular season special. Rangers aren’t perfect, but people should start counting their blessings with Igor, who may be the best goalie in hockey this year. Upgrade the 5v5 with a player or two and let’s go.
