I haven't watched a full Carolina game... are they that good?

They following that TB logic... just get a bunch of Rangers to win.

It's getting to the point where the question isn't whether or not he'll pass Gretzky, but whether or not the time he missed because of lockouts and Covid will stop him from reaching 1000.
I’ve always been an Ovi guy, my uncle always argued with me since I was little that Crosby was better. I think the consensus has been that Crosby is better, well it might seem more like that for me living in Canada with how our media is about him. When Ovechkin beats Gretzky’s record is he above Sid?

No. Crosby is absolutely the better all around player. Ovechkin is the better goal scorer, and the greatest goal scorer of all time.

But is Crosby the greatest all around player of all time? I feel like this would make Ovechkin more legendary
I guess what’s more important? Being the better all around player between the two or a better goal scorer? I don’t think Ovechkin being the GOAT goal scorer is more valuable than everything else Crosby brings.

I’m posting highlights of former Rangers around the NHL in the Around the NHL thread, you’re the one who has the problem here lol. Should DeAngelo be like Voldemort?

For the people who get their panties in a knot about seeing highlights from around the league; stay out of the around the league thread then. This is a feel good story, watch this post game interview after he was named first star man. The crowd starts chanting “Tony” and the guy is tearing up. Feel good redemption stories like this is what hockey is all about.

Would you still think it's a feel good moment if it were JT Miller?

TDA is not more exciting than Fox. This isn’t even a question.
He plays a lot more up-tempo, more swagger, dances along the blu line with some of the best skating in the league, has a way better shot; and has moments where he’s a hothead and turns into one of the best pound for pound fighters in the game. He’s a lot more flashy and exciting imo. Fox plays hockey like chess, it’s all in his IQ and vision, which is remarkable but not as fast paced and exciting imo

I find it more exciting to watch a high IQ player. Watching Fox it looks like he’s not even trying. And it’s a lot more high paced when he’s skating with the puck in the offensive zone, especially when he then shifts back to D, way better than TDA. It may not be flashy, but it’s a work of art.

another player that leaves the Rangers and looks like a world beater again. It's amazing

There's something wrong within the org

Wouldn’t put too much thought into it. Shatty still makes some bad decisions in his own zone but the Ducks offense has woken up and he has been in the play more and adding his offensive skill. Plus when Shatty was here he was injured and Rangers weren’t in a good place.
