IM TIRED OF SEEING THIS SHIT

WHY!? is it so hard for us to get the satisfaction of the kids producing

It sucks man, not going to lie. Although, a lot of these young guys tend to impress right away running on adrenaline at the get go then become invisible over time. Just look at Miller - I'm sure there were tons of fans of other teams that where saying the same thing about him last year.

I do think some of the young guys are still ball and chained to Quinn hockey and will hopefully break free of that after 20-30 games.

And their backup keeper.

But f***, Dougie and Hughes both score in their debut?

Edit: thought Luke made the team and scored.
Chicago isn't a top team. Can they make the playoffs? Yes. Can they finish 2nd to last in the Central? Yes.

J. Hughes has had a great environment to grow there, because he has been fed responsibility. I think this is important to remember with Laf as well. If it looks bad, sure, demote him to the 3rd line for a while. But then bring him back up.

Kakko and Laf have neither yet had as good of an opportunity to thrive as the youngsters in Jersey. You'd think playing with Panarin is awesome, but if it means you have to play like Jesper Fast it's not that awesome anymore. I'm excited for the Montreal game merely for the fact that we might see Chytil center the Panarin-Kakko line instead of Strome.

No one happier about that than me. I’ll believe it when I see it though. Are we sure they’re not just slotting McKegg there?

Gonna suck seeing the Devils rebuild pass ours because we keep throwing away talent.

Man I'm salty seeing that Hughes goal...we don't give Kakko or Laf a shot in OT. Not that Laf has earned it at all. One of them better start putting up some numbers. Please!

Edit: and don't get me wrong Kakko has been looking solid. But it needs to translate to points one of these days.
