I cannot believe that a franchise with McDavid and Draisaitl in their prime has decided again to come back with a 39 year old goaltender as their starter. He's going to be 40 by the time the playoffs start.

Can we interest them in a goalie who started over a guy who just signed a 4 year 22 million dollar deal on opening night?

I miss him, not gonna lie. Hopefully Jones or Lundkvist can replace what he brought

Doubtful. Just the truth.

I’m with you in hoping, but that’s a high bar. If Tony wasn’t a … different breed… we’d be talking about how we can fit him with the other cap considerations. Hopefully he figures it out in Carolina. Except for when they play us.

I liked Tony DeAngelo, the player. But it was clear his off-ice activities were too much for the club, and he was gone.

Yeah, I know it's fun to take a jab at Georgiev with TDA, but AFAIK it has been pretty well established he had multiple strikes and that was the last straw. It was not about Tony vs Sasha, so let it go.

I hope TDA keeps it up and his act together, because he's a really talented player, and it's always a shame to see a career destroyed by some off ice BS.
