Bro, Sidney Crosby scored 108 points when he was 18 years old. Pittsburgh named him as an alternate captain two months into his NHL career.

“By his second season [19 yrs.], he led the NHL with 120 points to capture the Art Ross Trophy, becoming the youngest player and the only teenager to win a scoring title in any major North American sports league. That same season, Crosby won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's most valuable player (MVP) and the Lester B. Pearson Award for most outstanding player as judged by his peers.”

Madness. Absolute madness.

Sid the Kid will always be #1 for me. Not McDavid, not Ovechkin.

Look at this shit. It’s not even like he’s ancient either, he’s still 33 years old...

I still think he's better. The concussions definitely messed with Crosby. He's still a generational talent but he was other worldly before the head issues

McDavid is more physically talented. Crosby as of now is more complete

I can't figure out if this Stars jersey is the best of all time or the worst of all time.

Living next to their stadium I see it every day. It’s actually pretty damn sharp in person and it is a very cool way to represent the Dallas night skyline. I don’t love them, but I like them.

And Washington scoring 5 so far without Ovie and Kuznetsov.
I know they won a cup and have been good every year but this COVID thing is making me realize how stacked that team is. Still got guys like Backstrom, Oshie, Wilson, and Carlson out there.

Wow! I'm never complaining about the refs in NYR games again. Arizona player chirps the Anaheim goalie, the goalie tackles him and they both got unsportsmanlike penalties. WTF? 2 minutes for chirping?

I thought that Buffalo would be that.

Buffalo to this point has actually been pretty good. Very positive metrics and their PP has been fire.

they’ll go as far as their goaltending takes them.

I imagine NJ will be that team soon enough. Their defense is wooof.

Philly is playing like this that team. The record isn’t bad, but they’ve looked like ass.

And then Pittsburgh drafts Evgeni Malkin 1 year later lol. How the f*** is that even allowed?
MAF(1)-Malkin(2)-Crosby(1)-Staal(2)

Maybe we have another lottery pick in us still. :naughty:

We got a 2. Then we got a 1. Now we just need another 2.

It's a sign. (212)

Did anyone see the two injuries in the Kings / Wild game last night?

Holy LORD.

Two of the worst ones Ive ever seen.

Fiala knew instantly he f***ed up. I'll be shocked if he doesn't get 2 or more games for that

And Dumba - woah. Where was he going with that? That's a flat out howitzer to the schnozz, yikes

Bill Pidto is not great at math. Apparently the Caps scored 5 straight after being down 3-0 to win it 6-3.

most announcers are horrible at things like this.

I dont know how many times i have heard unanswered goals used incorrectly as well. If a team is losing 2-0, scores 4 straight and wins 4-3... they did not score 4 unanswered goals. 1 of them was answered!

They probably mean consecutive and unanswered until it was answered but that I can see that mistake. Here it's literally 6-0.

One of my pet peeves

To be fair... if they were down 3-0 and won it 3-6, then they technically scored

2 straight,
3 straight,
4 straight,
5 straight, and...
6 straight.

Hell of a schedule tonight on this frigid Friday.
I was installing a shelf on my work van today and...wow it was frigid. Incredibly unfortunate that it required me to take off my gloves to do intricate stuff with my fingers.

Holy frick.
