NYR board favorite J.T. Miller scored his first goal.

EDIT: Brian Burke just said Drury is on the list of possible Pittsburgh GMs

As good as Letang is (one of my favorites from a play style perspective) he’s no spring chicken and his health history is spotty. Ownership being so against moving him that the GM resigns is too much owner involvement. It’s not like he was working on a Crosby, or even Malkin trade. Letang isn’t on that level of franchise face unmovable no matter players.

Crazy that Pens ownership would block the trade of a 33-year-old defensemen whose best years are behind him.

As much as I dislike Dolan, him not caring about the Rangers does have its benefits. We sold off most our team and bought out the face of franchise and he was fine with it. Dolan as owner of the Knicks, well, that's a different story...

That may be but he's the most handsome of the three by far

Anyone know where the find successful offensive zone entry stats for teams or individual players? Can’t seem to find them

Pens are missing so many defensemen, but he was trying to trade their best one? Must have been for defense in return. I'm curious to find out which team he was talking to.

Take his cap hit away and add cheaper players is likely the thought for flexibility. The other thing is at some point you end up with 3 old players, better to move one now and get some help for Malkin and Sid, two guys they likely retire in their jersey.

McDavid is the greatest talent to ever play hockey.

Fight me.
Bro, Sidney Crosby scored 108 points when he was 18 years old. Pittsburgh named him as an alternate captain two months into his NHL career.

“By his second season [19 yrs.], he led the NHL with 120 points to capture the Art Ross Trophy, becoming the youngest player and the only teenager to win a scoring title in any major North American sports league. That same season, Crosby won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league's most valuable player (MVP) and the Lester B. Pearson Award for most outstanding player as judged by his peers.”

Madness. Absolute madness.

Sid the Kid will always be #1 for me. Not McDavid, not Ovechkin.

Look at this shit. It’s not even like he’s ancient either, he’s still 33 years old...

I never realized they actually drafted Malkin first.

But who gives a f*** about the order, it was still Malkin & Crosby in 12 months lol

they actually had the worst record in the league but lost the lottery or it could have by ovechkin and crosby
