Lundkvist isn’t on the roster and the Rangers still have Schneider in the system and ADA/Fox/Trouba in the lineup. Take Miller from that left side and it really becomes a black hole right now.

Though any move for PLD without it getting rid of salary would’ve required a follow-up action, so there is that to consider.

Rangers love Lundkvist and Kravtsov, it’s just a matter of having to give something of value to get someone of value.

Have any other names popped up? Besides the usual?

I feel like we can get a good center for Kravtsov/Lundkvist, ADA +

They did not offer Buch.

Jackets asked for Kakko or Miller. Rangers didn’t want to go there.

Trading both ADA and Lundkvist wouldn't make much sense IMO. I'm enjoying the depth on RD at the moment. Plus the whole way PLD went about him wanting out left a poor taste in my mouth so I didn't really want him.

Wouldn't object to move one of those players at the draft thought to move up a bunch of spots if we can land someone like Beniers however..

I don't think it makes sense to hold on to both either.

They can always back fill the system with their own picks at the position if necessary.

True, I can see it both ways. Eventually though, likely sooner than later, we will have to trade some of that RD depth away, hopefully to fill some holes like center depth.
 
Chytil's goal didn't make the NHL networks top 10 plays of the week, lol. Most of the list was so pedestrian.

Nothing terribly new to report. Monitoring and watching. Though if someone like Chytil keeps doing what he’s doing and locks down the second line center spot, it almost goes without saying that it will shift the focus.
 
BTW, some of the K'Andre comps made me wonder how do you guys think Hedman compares to Pronger. Similar height, not sure about weight or their games.
