He'd probably be around 735-740 if there wasn't a lockout in 12/13 and the shortened season last year. And the shortened season this year will hinder him a bit more.

He also lost a full year due to the lockout in 04-05. OV's lost more than 2 seasons worth of games due to lockouts+global pandemic. With those games, he may very well be sitting at 2nd all time right now.
The thought that he still may set the record is crazy.
