Wow the Jets are a f***ing train wreck. They easily could have lost this game 6-1.

They had their contention window pulled out right from under them. Wheeler is 34, Laine is an RFA and who knows how much longer he’ll be a Jet anyway. They need to rebuild their defense like NOW.

i believe the player have to follow the local regulations. so if NY still has a quarantine rule that you are supposed to isolated 14 days coming from ohio (i'm not sure if its still active) than he'd have to do that before he can join our team...

keeping the divisions separate is more because they didn't want to cross the border and this makes more sense than having the canadian teams only play within the division but the other 3 play normal. and it saves on travel too.

Some municipalities in the states have stricter rules than others.

He played for them the other night, I was watching the game. I think the reason they sent him to the taxi squad is because they don't want to risk losing Kolesar on waivers and they wanted to call up a D, and Glass is waiver exempt. They played 5 D for a few games but they probably don't want to do that all year.

They are in salary cap hell. To much to recount here...check out one of their beat writers for an explanation.

It’s stupid if you’re only doing it for money, like “Why would I get a job when I can gamble?” If you bet on sports for fun that’s different.
 
Heading into tonight’s game: Forward Boko Imama has been recalled from Ontario (AHL) and placed on the taxi squad. Forward Lias Andersson has been activated to the Kings from the taxi squad.
