So the Toronto bubble has popped. Isles and Tampa going to Edmonton. Has the NHL explained why?
Every time I see your username I think you’re a Flyers fan lolI've honestly never had a problem with Canadian fans. After the Rangers home opener I was chilling with Peg fans before I hopped on the train to head to Austin for a bachelor party... and they were all mad cool.
Even Flyers fans have been cool.
The only fanbase I ever really had an issue with were Islanders fans which is why I can't stand them.

The isles are not beating Tampa, forget that. Tampa is a very good team with experience that is playing with a chip on it's shoulder after what happened last year. They added some grit and seemed to learn something from last year. The fact that they beat Boston in 5 who I thought was the best team in the east is really impressive, this after dominating Columbus also. Tampa is rested and the Isles just went 7 and have played basically 3 playoff series already and it will start to take it's toll. Unless the Piles get a Demko like performance this isn't going past 5. Book it.

They lost to a very similar team last year in Columbus. Boston never looked good at anytime this post season, players in and out of the lineup, they were banged up or something
Yes and they beat that same Columbus team in 5 this year. As a matter of fact they beat 2 teams in 5 that can grind and play defense. The Isles have had some real good matchups also. They have played a lousy Florida team, a clearly declining Washington team with a crap coach and without Backstrom, and a Philly team that looked less than impressive this entire playoffs. I stand by what I said. Tampa in 5.
Or ducheneDifferent columbus team, no panarin or bobbrovsky. Washington was still considered a conference final favorite with Tampa and Boston before the post season started.

Philly was awful in that Montreal series. People overlooked how bad they were but it was apparent to anyone who closely watched that series. I’m surprised it went 7 games with the Isles bc Philly wasn’t good
Until they started playing hockey again when they looked like the were skating in mud. I have always thought that Tampa and Boston were the 2 best teams in the east. No reason to think otherwise and no reason to think it won't be a Vegas-Tampa final.
I imagine other GMs would love this "C'mon Pierre, you know my average 3rd liner played HS hockey with one of your guys, he's got to be worth a 1st!"
Maybe I'm in the minority and so be it but I happen to like Pierre. I like his stories about his time in the juniors or players exploits in the Q and shit like that. Now as far as Milbury...we are on same page there. Can't stand him. But Pierre....nah, he can stay at NBC. And when Rangers start too make long playoff runs again hopefully in two years, I want too see Pierre fawn all over Lafreniere and Kakko and Shesterkyn...lol
I feel bad for Yotes fans...the organization is always a tire fire & now the first 2 names to surface as Chayka's replacement are Chiarelli & Pierre. Ouch.
I stopped reading after you said you like Pierre.
One thing about pierre is he knows every prospect known to man, thats gotta help them.
this all makes a lot of sense. But i'm not convinced until I see it.The isles are not beating Tampa, forget that. Thats what the isles do to you, they slow you down, take away your speed and clog everything up. I dont know who scores the final goal but this series is going 6 or 7. Both Philly and Washington we better teams than they showed, thats because of the Isles.
