I really really hope Colorado wins tonight. I don't want this series with the Stars too end it's been so entertaining.

On the other hand I want Tampa too put the Bruins out of their misery tonight as other than the Islanders or Flyers fan bases, nothing and I mean nothing makes me happier than reading the whining and crying of the Boston fan base after a Bruins loss especially a series loss.

The Islanders are getting me VERY nervous. Nervous as in in this wacked out zombie apocalypse year, as much as I hope and pray it wouldn't happen, I could easily see the stinken "Trotz left wing lock", throttling the high flying Lightning and getting to the Cup.

And if that happens, all bets are off cause I could easily see them beating anyone of the teams coming out of the West which the way it looks right now would shockingly be Dallas as they seem to have the luv of the hockey gods this post season.

Too have the Isles win the Cup before we did again would be unbearable too have too deal with. Hopefully the hockey gods will intervene and prevent that from occurring for our sake!!...lol

Tampa is going to come out of the east.

Cooper is no genius, but that roster is going to be too much for Trotz to handle. There are chinks in the Islander armor that haven't been exposed with any regularity by Philly. Mayfield-Towes is ripe to be exposed and the Leddy-Green pair isn't really that great etiher.

Part of me would LOVE to see Lehner beat the Isles in the final to give Lou the ultimate finger, but we won't get there.

Obviously I'm hoping for the same thing you are and I do agree Tampa would be a huge obstacle for the Islanders too get past and tho it was chalk, I had Tampa/Colorado as my Cup final and did so in my NHL.com bracket challenge....I was a bit tentative about it.

Trust me I hate too even be having this go thru my head but before this tournament started in both bubbles, I thought to myself and quite a few "experts" in the media also publicly said, that this really could be the kind of year where we could get a very unexpected Cup winner.

Unfortunately my friend, that's not out of the realm of possibility at this point and it's a bit nerve wracking that the stinken Philes are going too the final four one step away from the Cup final...just sayin!

That was obvious, after all that time off there was no doubt that the first few rounds were going to be filled with upsets, we saw that.

Tampa's already dispatched 1 team who would have given the Isles all sorts of trouble and are a win away from dropping another who would have beat them. They've benefited from Halak going full pumpkin, but they've also outplayed a really good Boston team pretty significantly.

You can only play who you have in front of you, but the Isles have gotten really favorable matchups between Florida, a declining Caps team, and an AV led Flyers team who was grossly outplayed by Montreal. They've done what they've needed to do, so credit to them for that, but Tampa is a different animal.

My brain is telling me that the Isles won't beat Tampa, but... the Isles have made short work of all 3 opponents they've faced so far. All 3 looked like complete dogshit. Now is that because they are dogshit and the Isles got lucky matchups, or is the Isles style making them look that way? Philly did look bad against Montreal but I still can't believe how easily they handled the Capitals.

To be fair, the Capitals were playing Holtby and Backstrom was hurt

If Tampa can close out Boston, they’ll have excised their biggest demons the first couple rounds by beating them and CBJ. From a physicality standpoint, the Isles won’t throw anybting at them they haven’t seen so far. (Hopefully)

"Awful" player who clearly worked his entire left and right ass cheeks off to get to and play (nearly 200 games) in the NHL. Tons of players would kill to be considered that "awful." Cool to see he's still in the scene.

for a 1st round pick he was awful.
