Definitely. The thing that struck me about the Avs is that they don’t have great depth. Their roster is sort of like a third world nation.

Agree about the depth, They rely very heavily on Mac. He’s awesome but not many others are stepping up.

The Flyers strike me as a team that will make the playoffs consistently in the next few years but aren't good enough to win anything. They have a lot of good players but I don't see any difference makers.

i thought they looked awesome this year and was worried they got rest and would win it all. They look punchless against the Isles.

Isles held the puck in the corner for a long time. No Flyer hit anybody. How times have changed.

At least Debrusk looks good, otherwise brutal.
Debrusk is alright, but like, they could've had a player (or more!) capable of carrying another line like they really need right now, and even potentially taking over in a couple of years because Bergeron and Marchand aren't gettin any younger

They could’ve completely restocked the system with those picks. What a lousy job drafting. That would feel like multiple Lias Anderssons

In the old days in the early 80s when the islanders were winning Stanley cups, one thing ranger fans at least had was that they were the more passionate, louder, tougher fan base. Now? Not so much. Back then there was no social media either. That helped. When the isles win the Fugazi Cup in 4 weeks what are we going to say then (besides that it was fugazi)? We have more fans? Is that even true anymore? Oh da pain.
