Who of the teams left would I most like to win? 1) Vancouver 2) Calgary 3) Colorado.

I don't like Vegas. I certainly don't want St. Louis to win two in a row. I'd just as soon have a Canadian team win though MacKinnon's okay but I don't like Kadri or put it this way we owe him one for ambushing Lindgren. You're mad--you want to fight--fight fair or there's got to be a do over.

I like Ryan Reaves.

I'm not sure about that. The Habs have zero finishers. Zero. Gallagher is obviously playing at 50 percent if that. They are relying a lot on Suzuki and KK for offense. If Price lets up more than a goal they probably lose 75 percent at this point.
Chariot and kulak have been playing well but they are not top defenders. Mete/Ouellet not very good.
Well, I didn’t say they could finish.

Reading Rangers news about Toronto and finding a goalie.

What strikes me as funny is apparently teams eliminated can start trading lol.

NHL (smh)

This is no different than any year. You technically can make trades after the deadline but those players are not eligible for the playoffs, so except a team getting decimated by injuries and needing re-enforcements you almost never see a trade made but it’s allowed.

ty, i need to be reminded yearly how silly this is once teams are eliminated.

We need Calgary to lose and get shutout in the process... they need an All-American like Buch to help them offensively :naughty:

Blues minus Tarasenko hanging in there.

Last years playoff hero Binnington or Allen is turning out to be quite a battle.

The last 3 years are for $1 million in real dollars per year. I don't think he's going to play them and Nashville will be on the hook for the recapture.

The new CBA agreement eliminated the egregious recapture penalty on contracts signed before the 2012 lockout. Nashville is off the hook, which is actually fair....but it would've made for great drama if Weber retired early.

Funny, I think he looks like someone who would be fun to have some drinks with.

I would bet he's a great guy to drink with...he partnered with a local brewery here to make his own beer. Circumstances permitting, he's already applied for a permit with the city of Vegas to begin construction on his own brewpub.

If the Islanders play the Flyers (likely), can I root for both to loose?

Actually it looks like I'll have to root for the Islanders to help the Rangers draft position. That will be a first.

As long as the Islanders don't win the Cup I'll survive.

Johnny Hockey is the most likely trade candidate for Calgary guys.

I could see them MAYBE moving on from Monahan (I'd be on that) but I'm pretty certain Lindholm isn't going anywhere.
