I don’t know why more goals aren’t scored like that. Stick is tied up aim for the skate and direct it in. Can’t defend it.

Practice it no??

That's why i want tbl to lose. They played like crap when they owed us the first lol

I just don’t want to see teams like the isles and blue jackets rewarded with playoff wins. I want to see good hockey with star players performing.

"I don't think troubs is getting a parm with that pick. Cue my celly with some filthy mitts Anyone I can impress around here by walking around with my shirt off while listening to the Avett Brothers#Buccimane"
To be fare after slagging the guy - he is the only person on ESPN who gives a crap about hockey unless they let Linda Cohn speak on the game.

Literally Stanley Cup Champion 2004
Whatever Torts was doing in 2004 is not anything like he's been doing 09-present. He came into the Rangers touting "Safe is death" and now all his teams look like the "Black and Blueshirts" era Rangers. Torts doesn't even have many series wins under his belt since 04.

Edit: 4 series wins, past the second round once, with us in '12.

The new CBA agreement eliminated the egregious recapture penalty on contracts signed before the 2012 lockout. Nashville is off the hook, which is actually fair....but it would've made for great drama if Weber retired early.
I'm not sure this is the case. Sounds like the yearly cap recapture is limited to the AAV of the contract, but that would just spread it out over future years.

Huge win for Tampa to put away Columbus and get over that hurdle.
Definitely. I wonder if Stamkos will play in the 2nd round. Not that I think it's his team anymore. In a big spot, I have more faith in Point and Kucherov scoring than Stamkos. Still a very good offensive player though. Point looks like a future captain.

Torts had 4 star players and a star goalie. That’s always a good formula

LeCavalier
St Louis
Richards
Boyle
Khabibulan

now he doesn’t have one forward that touches any of those guys.

Khabibulin? I wouldn't call him a star goalie. He just had a really strong post-season but overall he was not a star
