You gotta think teams like the Isles and Columbus can only get so far with their lack of talent. It was always the case for us. It’s gotta catch up with them eventually the harder and harder it gets to score goals you need a few easy ones need your stars to make a few plays.

Columbus is running out of gas. The Islanders are LITERALLY the 2005-2011 Nashville Predators.

I still think Malhotra would have had a much more offensive career had he been left to cook in juniors for the 99-00 season and then maybe had a year in the AHL after that.

Islanders roster isn’t that bad , plus they are playing amazingly right now. They got figured out halfway thru the season but since this bubble is like a new season , they’re riding that wave all over again.
