Miller goes to Vancouver and becomes a 70 point player. Lol, whether he plays with Pettersson or not, he never showed thay potential with us. Typical Rangers luck.

Hayes had his usual year, and i'm glad we didn't resign him. I think we can do better at 2c if we are smart.
Miller didn't do anything in Tampa either

Hayes was on pace for 49 points in 82 games. He was sixth on his team in points per game. Even including his three points, he now has a whopping 4 goals and 13 assists in 42 playoff games.

I wanted to keep him. I like him. Let's not make this out to be some sort of crippling loss where we totally missed the boat in keeping him.

Pretty much every model will tell you that Hayes, at 28, is at his peak. And his peak is good but far from great.

And what does your model tell you about Kreider's game and how the drop off is inevitably soon.

That he, like Hayes, is also likely at his peak?

I wasn't posting as a response to you, but if I have to respond, I would definitely dispute that Hayes is better now or moving forward.

Miller is a different story entirely. I wouldn't compare him to either Kreider or Hayes for a few reasons.

He didn’t show it in Tampa either and he played with better players than in Vancouver. Who knows maybe it’s a fluke season.
