Grubauer just took his teammates rear end to the head. Out of the game and heading to their dressing room.

Watching the Stadium Series, Edzo always entertains: "I'm not on Instaface..."

“Hey Joe, it’s your cousin Marvin. Marvin Gorton. You know that new number 1 goalie you’ve been looking for?”

Senile Lou will have to make a move to bolster the offense at the deadline in a thin pool of qualified forwards. Vancouver is interested in Simmonds. All eligible bachelors are being targeted. Kreids should get the best return since Nash.

Thank the good lord that Panarin decided to take less cash and come to us vs the Islanders who offered more, seeing you put Bread on that team, not a doubt in my mind that team is headed to the Cup finals as he is exactly to the tee what that team is missing.

Seriously I recall vividly last summer when we were all debating back and forth whether or not it was a good idea to sign Panarin.

Besides obviously Bread being a great player and likely making our team better, just as importantly, at least for me for Gorton to go hard and sign him, was to keep him away from the f***ing Islanders.

Think about how pissed off we all would be if he had signed with the Islanders and doing all the amazing things he's been doing for us this season and instead he would be doing it for them. That would have been a nightmare especially if he would have possibly led them to a Cup while we let him slip thru our fingers.

Just the thought of it makes me cringe.

Y'know, I was one of the posters who was against signing Panarin - not vehemently so, but I was against it. That said, let me say this:

I WAS WRONG

Much respect as you are one of the very few who have publicly admitted it as most if not all the anti Panarin folks who were quite loud during the summer before Gorton signed him, have been quiet as church mouses.

So well done sir...

Nothing like Saturday night drama in Montreal. Habs blow a 3-0 lead at home, Stars take 0 penalties, then this [dive] happens late in the game and everyone loses their shit. After the final whistle, Gallagher is mouthing off to the officials and a ref gets caught on tape with audio telling Gallagher to go f*** himself. Julien of course rips in to the refs during the post-game and is almost certainly going to get fined. Canadiens’ Claude Julien calls officiating embarrassing in loss to Stars - Sportsnet.ca

Also the Flames lost 8-4 to the Hawks, and the Coyotes beat the Caps. Plus the Avs losing in the final minute against a basement team...pretty hilarious night of hockey when all is said and done.

What's the story behind the Blackhawks' player Dominik Kubalik?

- Kings 7th round pick in 2013
- 24 years old
- Traded to Chicago for a 5th rounder a year ago
- First season in the NHL
- Scoring at a 33 goal pace

Dominik Kubalik Hockey Stats and Profile at hockeydb.com

Chicago seems to have this knack of having guys come out of the blue and produce for them and Kubalik is one of them.

Thankfully we also have one of those type of guys who happens to wear #10...lol
