aaaaand it's tied.You were saying?![]()
Is there any chance Shesterkin even gets a shot in the big leagues this year apart from if Georgiev or Hank get injured? I know they wanted him here, but can anyone see Quinn actually playing him over the aforementioned in any of the games?
I think injuries, plural, is the only way he gets a shot this year - unless the Rangers are really bold, Georgiev has awesome stats, and move him (G) at the trade deadline.
Not fair to Igor to play in the AHL for 2 seasons. Especially if he dominates in the AHL all this year. Plus i think he has a clause he can go back to Russia after his first year so he no doubt would go back to the KHL if he earned his NHL shot and was told he's playing another year in the AHL.Rangers shouldn't trade Georgiev. Honestly let Lundqvist's contract run out and go with Igor/Georgie tandem for a few years.
I was told he wasn’t that good lolJohn Carlson leading the league in points. The ****.

Honestly, best case scenario (well not really, it's terrible to say) but if one of the NHL goalies get hurt and Shest comes up and plays a half dozen games so we can see him at the NHL level. If he is playing strong then it makes it an easier choice to move Georgiev.

@The Crypto Guy and @Leetch3 Shestyorkin doesn't have to stay in the AHL the entire time. He will play in the NHL this year at least five starts is my guess and next year they can find ways to work him in especially if Lundqvist's GAA continue to spike. I love the guy but as a prime time starter he's done.
