MacKinnon is so f***ing good. Have been watching the Avalanche Panthers game at same time as the Ranger game and he just scored the GW in OT with a snipe. He's simply an amazing player

IMO MacKinnon has joined McDavid as the co-best players in the league while at same time being the most exciting.

And if anyone doubted Grubauer is a #1 goalie not that he needed too but tonight he was incredible. This might be the best goalie performance I've ever seen for a guy who gave up 4 goals...seriously...he was amazing.

The Avalanche are my team to ultimately get out of the West and be the Cup finalist out there...they have everything it takes to win it all.

I like them a lot, their defense (while very talented) is soooo green though

I agree somewhat with you GK about the defense that it's a bit untested but it is so damn talented.

And so far so good as tonight was the most goals they've given up and it was just 4 and the Panthers scored 3 of them in the 1st period.

Listen it's early we all know that but to have a top 4 of Eric Johnson, Makar, Girard and Zadarov and a bottom pair of Graves and Ian Cole is a hell of a d corps and if you combine that with that sick forward group of their's and with Grubauer showing he's the real deal, I don't see how they don't end up being one of the final 4 in the West and IMO the likely representative out there in the Cup final.

We'll see but we should only hope that one day our Rangers end up being as lethal and dangerous as the Avalanche are. And to think only two years ago they had an all-time horrific year where they ended up with 48 points I think. Look at where they are now...amazing.

Oilers riding that PDO wave right now. 103.4 with below average Corsi/SCF%/HDCF%.

Giving their fans false hope before ripping it away again. Would be pretty shocked if the Oilers goalies end the season with a .922 save %, that’s for sure.

Definitely a crash and burn cadidate.

MacKinnon is not in mcDavids tier and he’s not the 2nd best player in the league. He’s a very good and definitely plays an exciting game but he’s really being overhyped.
 
Devs getting it turned around. MackBlack shutout. True it was against the Canucks, a very uninspiring team imo, but figures we would be the ones to help them get their confidence and their season on track lmao.

everyone looks very good.
Detroit is getting their shit together and Torts' grind jam grind will get the jackets near the middle of the pack. Only OTT and LAK are capable of being bottom 3 locks. Min and Dal will get their shit together eventually. With commander Quinn at the helm, we should be looking for a solid bottom 3 finish this year with our center depth.

Agreed, but Girard is damn good defensively though and Makar doesn’t look like a rookie in his own end. If they move one of Kaut or Bowers for a solid veteran rental they’re going to be dangerous in the playoffs. They just got Cole back from injury and Cole, Johnson and to some extent Zadorov provide decent experience. Add one more at the deadline, with Girard and Makar and that’s a dangerous team.

We'll apparently need to disagree here. I don't see how he is being overhyped at all. If anything because he's out west, he doesn't get enough publicity.

As far as skating with the puck and excitement level, it's once again McDavid and MacKinnon for me.

You can disagree but if I have 2nd pick in a draft than for me it's between McDavid and MacKinnon....simple as that.
