Two picks and a mid level prospect... hmm

Id pay that for kunin and ferraro
Lindgren was not playing very well. His long time d partner Fox out I guess that's it Rangers decided to get some draft picks for their next move. Vesey wanted out, he's a dime a dozen player now. De Haan sure has become a suitcase at the end of his career.

Ferraro has to be worth at least a 1st relative to Lindgren.

Jones trade is interesting. I know his advanced stats have been suboptimal for a while but I am less sold (a tad skeptical dare I say) on statistical modeling for D men on bad teams.

Bill Zito has been a bit of a magician in Florida, so for me at least, I will give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

I agree, getting Chicago to retain 2.5 million a year for the next 5 years is a great job. Almost Chevy like even. :naughty:

Seth Jones comments about the Hawks not being any better now than at the beginning of the season pretty well screamed get me out of here. Getting rid of that contract and even eating some of his salary was a good move for a player that still hasn't played up to it.

Tough to play up to that contract in that situation

I have a feeling he'll turn heads in Florida

That said, the Hawks get a goalie that matches their rebuild timeline. I'm curious to see how the move forward now that they've moved Hall and Jones. Bedard isn't growing his game into a pro-style that he needs to in order to become the player ha can be. It's starting to look like the Oilers back in the Hall/Eberle days

Ehlers at 10m and Rantanen at 14m would do it.
