That pass by Perron was filthy.

I don’t think people fully grasped how unique of a combination he is.

He’s not going to be the highest scoring kid from that draft class, but I remember thinking that if he put the pieces in the right order he was going to be a very valuable player. And he certainly is.

The arguments we had to make to support him were ulcer-inducing before that draft. Everyone kept writing the kid off as a bad prospect for the absolute worst reasons.
