Actually, it's quite clever for Point. He signs for 3y, on a backloaded contract, can sign a really high QO for his final RFA year and then test the market in free agency. This deal is better for Point long term than it is for Tampa. It's nice to see players finally figuring out the CBA.

It's brilliant.

Will be very interesting. The central could be a quite the challenge this season.

Not sure if they take the division but they'll make playoffs. D is an issue but that offense is legit.

How is it possible that Vesey has already disappointed Sabres fans?
I had seen plenty of the guy to know he's total rubbish, and acquiring him was yet another reason I consider Botts the worst GM in the entire sports. There are still some of our fans who think he will be good, most are the same people saying last year that Sobotka was nowhere near as bad as people like me were saying. And they were actually right: he was even worse than I thought it would be.

Is Justin Faulk still good? I feel like the last few times I watched him, he didn't look like the guy he had been over the past few years.

in my opinion he just needs a fresh start. how would a player feel about hearing their name in trade rumors for a few years while nothing happens? im sure it takes its toll on the player
