I think that's a good one. I always saw Matt Hunwick so similar level of play
I dunno. Maybe I am wrong but I remember Hunwick being a decent possession player.

On a side note, with all the talk about prospect pools lately... am I the only one who doesn't understand the love fest with Nick Suzuki. I see many writers talk about him like he is going to be a can't miss stud prospect. I don't think he is going to be anything special and I think people are both seriously overrating the Habs prospect pool and team overall.

I liked him in his draft year and would have been happy with him in the spot we took Andersson. That being said, his ceiling is that of a 2nd line winger. I don't think he's an NHL center.

How do they fit all those in....it's nuts.

Stamkos, hedman, kucherov, mcd, vas...

Gotta figure point will come in around 9 as well.

Good Lord.

They still have Point this summer, and then Cernak, Cirelli, Joseph, and Sergachev next summer. I have no idea how they're making that work.
Some combination of Palat, Johnson, and Killorn (potentially all three) have got to go. But who steps up to help them out with that...?

I know McDonagh has recovered some of his play, but paying him close to $7MM for the next seven years, through his age 37 season, is looking worse and worse...

I'm sure some team will be dumb enough to pay to take on the tail-ends of those deals. Hell, Vancouver just gave up a first this year or next for JT f***ing Miller.

That’s a lot. Makes the John Gibson contract look like a bargain.
