I really like the matchup with the Bruins, especially if Lucic still struggles/benched. He was the player I'm most scared about due to his confrontations with McDonagh. I really feel he plays out there to hurt him specifically and we're done without McD and Staal.

The rest of their lineup is pretty nice and they are much deeper at C. It'll be a close series and I think it'll be a cointoss on who wins it. I just prefer facing them than any other team in a playoff spot.
 
Ugh, Red Wings win 4-0 tonight and at the moment they have overtaken Columbus for the #8 seed in the West.

I was really hoping the Blue Jackets would grab that spot so at least there would be one interesting team to root for in the West but nope, it'll probably be the lame Red Wings making it in because God forbid they miss their 45th consecutive trip to the playoffs.
 
The Isles are due for a loss.
Good night...........tomorrow is a busy day. All the NHL games and the CL (Bayern vs Barca) game in the afternoon.

If Blue Jackets get in then Henrik loses the Vezina. You want that?

If it's between BOS, PITT, and WSH, definitely the Bruins for me.
 
I think we could take the Bruins, it would be a brutal series but we always play them extremely close, and Hank has insane numbers against them.
 
I swear, the Sedins are good for at least 2 amazing passes per game.

Lol, Zack Kassian is finally relevant again. As soon as he gets put on the Sedin line.

They're still 1 point back. They have a game in hand, though.

If the BJs win out with scores of 6-5, I'm all for them making the playoffs. Lots of former Rangers, heart and soul team. Considering they won't win out with scores of 6-5, I feel like the only way Lundqvist can win a Vezina is if the BJs miss the playoffs. So Go Red Wings!
