They have not looked that great tonight, they got 2 quick goals early, otherwise they've been defending the net ever since, good game from Vokoun overall but they have no offensive firepower whatsoever without those top guys.

Sure but it would be 10 times simpler if WPG just took a loss and we beat florida tomorrow instead of this endless horse race.

I want nothing to do with MTL. Not because I fear them but they've been kryptonite to us the past few years. No matter how bad they suck, we can't seem to beat them. Hell, I'd rather play the Pens over the Habs.

Playoffs change the dynamic. The Rangers have never won in Montreal, then in 1996 they won all three games there. Go figure.

Tomorrow we beat Florida, Canes beat Piles, Caps beat Jets.
We move into 6th and clinch a playoff spot.

The only thing I'm scared about when playing the Pens is actually referee interference. The Pens could murder Rangers on the ice and nothing would be called.

That being said, after the last game, with everyone getting feisty... and with Dorsett and Staal likely back... It'll be one helluva series.

As a Pens fan, I'm much more worried about you guys than Ott/Winnipeg/Isles. I'm sure you're worried about us too, but I think over an 82 game season you guys would finish much higher than where you are now. Easily up to 4th or 5th, so I'd be happy to avoid you.

Do me a favor and finish higher than 8th, and then I'll wish you all the luck knocking out Boston.

Call me crazy but i have been rooting for the Jets. I still hold out hope that we get the 6 seed and they win the division. Big game against the Capitals tomorrow. We are in right now and if we cannot beat the Panthers and Hurricanes to stay in the playoffs we don't deserve to be in. So I am not too worried about the Jets winning. Rooting against Islanders and Senators tho.

We destroyed the caps in the reg season but still lost to them in the POs prior to last year. Reg season doesnt mean squat.
