well id be shocked if he didnt have any say about it.. what if Sather and the rest of the scouts pick a player like Kreider that Torts didnt think was a good fit for this organization. kind of like right now in this situation otherwise he would get more than 4 mins a night i would think the coaches and GM to talk a bit about the draft..... the coaches may not have alot of say but im sure they are talked to about the scouted players..
You can go back and find him talking about it. Gordie Clarke drafts who he wants to draft. Has nothing to do with the draft at all.

Well, I don't think MTL matches up against the Leafs very well so it would be in their best interest to win against the Jets and play us or Ottawa. Though I guess if both Boston and MTL lose out they'd play each other and I don't think MTL would mind that scenario.

Guy knows his hockey.
Perople always bash him, but his passion and knowledge of the sport is undeniable. I like him as an analyst, especially since he's always talking up the Rangers young players.

You can definitely tell he loves hockey.
Actually, he'd fit right in on HF, where every young player has chance of becoming a superstar.
