The Pittsburgh rebuild is not gonna start for a while. Not until Crosby is gone. Plus they don't have any assets worth much for a trade. Their first rounder next year most likely gone to San Jose. So unless they win the lottery (oh boy lol) this year they might not be relevant for another 4-5 years.

Good. They have had their run, but that Karlsson trade was an awful idea. Dubas should’ve seen the writing on the wall this TDL and could’ve gotten massive asset if he asked Crosby and Malkin to be traded.

Crosby has to realize that there’s no shame in leaving Pittsburgh - elite generational players were moved before and if anything - it could add to his legacy. And if he loves the franchise objectively it would be the best for it too as trading its current core would bring a ton of assets.

Minny pulls the goalie in OT when no penalty was called. Crazy. They scored and won but holy crap that took balls. If they lost that game they would have forfeited that 1 point they gained by getting to OT because they pulled the goalie. I never knew about that rule.
