Whitney (possibly inebriated) tweeting the Sens could move Tkachuk. Seems insane. Not saying he’s a fit here but what a story that would be for the league

The Stars ability to churn very good to great NHL players out of non premium (i.e non lottery) picks is second to none.

Harley (quite possibly my biggest whiff), Johnson, Robertson and Hintz were all taken 18th OA or later. Stankoven is going to be a menace too and he was also a 2nd rounder.

Carolina 20 shots, Dallas 14 shots deep into the 3rd.

The Canes automatically have like 35 shots before the game even starts, I mean.....it's a given, right?

How in the hell is Dallas doing that?. Grab that tape, Rangers

Don't know Whitney, nor his alcohol intake, but not only the thought of trading Tkachuk that is out there, but for any of us thinking WE might attempt to get him is like, well ......to be honest......really effin' out there!

We take care of business tomorrow and yes it will be very tough for Carolina to catch us well most likely have the tie breaker too. So realistically it’s 9 pts right now back with a game in hand not 8

From the games I've watched the Flames are not terrible. They have just as good a chance of making the playoffs as the Blues/Kraken. Will be interesting if they keep playing well what happens in less than 2 weeks.

It's just variance. We did this with Tampa Bay.

The Oilers season so far just shows the ups and downs of a marathon NHL season. They start off terribly, then win 16 in a row, and have now lost 5 of 9 and are losing tonight. This is a tough league to win consistently and it's why I laugh at people who get their panties in a bunch when the Rangers don't play well sometimes yet they have the most wins in the league.

No. We need a 1RW more than anything. Vesey doesn't belong in the top 6.
This was so predictable lol. It's not Vesey's fault. If Kreider and Zibanejad are going to stay together, there really isn't a RW solution available that is going to work. There are probably ones that are going to be better, but i'm not sure that they will be so much better that its worth making the move.

A LD to play with Fox is a bigger need than a 1RW. it remains the #1 need for this team IMO. If the coach is not married to K-Z, I'd put a 3C ahead of RW and move Kreider off of that line. I'd rather he be effective and engaged than not.

It's not his fault but Vesey is not a top 6 forward. I didn't expect much when he was moved up and I am not surprised. Somebody like Eberle can play with those guys. I would also be ok with a guy like Hanafin but I just don't think it is going to happen. This team has 3 obvious needs if they want to go far. 1RW, depth center, and a top 4 LD. They are almost certainly not going to be able to fill all 3.
