I thought that having a coach like Adam Oates would have helped jump start his career. Not the case so far, though it is still early.

Rangers vs. Bruins was also promoted as a Rivalry game, although it hasn't been anything close to that since the 70's or something. These commentators will say anything they are told to say to make people watch the game.

I mean the Rangers and the Kings play on the same continent. They could be considered continental rivals in theory.

And last years Winter Classic "rivalry" was so pumped up where it seemed like the Flyers were the Rangers' only rival. I don't even consider them rivals except for the fact they are in our division.

Yeah, and they think just because the Yanks vs. Red Sox is a rivalry (or was a real rivalry in 2003-2004), everything with Boston and New York in it is a huge RIVALRY game.

It's all nonsense. I'd prefer watching the games with only the arena noise available. TOo bad it's not possible.

If I have the story right.. The goal was waved off AFTER a review for goalie interference. I thought goalie interference was not reviewable? If that's the case they have a right to be pissed.
