He only had 9 points in 13 games in his first playoffs. 13 points in 8 games in the two after. Then went supernova last year. Even the best player in the world has a learning curve in the playoffs.

Minn's coach is an idiot. Filip Gustavsson had a great year, 2nd best GAA and Save % in the league. Made a recordbreaking 51 saves winning game one of the playoffs in double OT.

So what does this idiot do,.... starts Marc Andre-Fleury for game two and gives up 7 goals.

I think if he's tired/sick and Bergy is also out, that's a big deal. I don't know if the rumors about a flu are true in the room though or if Linus just had an off night

If the Rangers end up winning the 1st series, we could have a favorable matchup at this point with the Canes since I think they'll have enough still to beat the Islanders. Canes would be without Svech, Patches and now Teuvo.

As an aside, longer playoff games SHOULD have more commercials right? So revenue from a playoff OT game would be higher helping with the salary cap for next year? If yes, 4OT's for everyone!!

The only commercials would be during the intermissions of overtime, during the actual playing time there are no commercial breaks in OT. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought this was the case. I guess it's still *some* extra revenue, but it's not like playing extra games.

This is accurate. They only stop play around the 10 minute mark so the ice girls can shovel the snow.

JPG broke Teruvainen's (spelling?) hand with a slash. They are lowdown thugs. I hate them with a passion. This is why I do not want to play them. We're guaranteed to lose one of our key players if we are able to beat them.

They're not winning that series. They may help our cause by pushing it to six games...they're already doing the battle of attrition for us. Carolina was already down Patches & Svech, now you can add Staal & TT.
