Sorokin cost the sad sad isles the game. What a slash by Pageau. This really hurts Carolina.
Just finished watching the entire game and I take it back - it was dirty play by Pageau but one that happens dozens of times in a game with only half of them being penalized IMO. With all the diving and faking that crybaby Carolina did all game I wouldn't be surprised if this was a pre-existing injury made worse.

Good to see an honest take on the game from a rival of the Isles. I am pretty sure Rangers fans or of any team for that matter would be up in arms if they had lost a playoff game by one goal in OT after being shorthanded 6 times, not getting a single PP and having a blatant too many men and high sticking penalty go unpenalized in OT right before the winning goal. And then Brindamour whining after the game about the officiating because of a stick tap on someones glove that happens 20 times per game.

oh just you wait, Brind'Amour's whining and stupid shocked face will send you into a homicidal rage by game 4. He's the worst part of a team filled with absolute shit stains on the face of hockey. Hated Carolina with a bloody passion by the time we finished them off.

Same.

Tampa Bay's Cernak is out for game 2. Hedman skated this morning but is a game time decision according to Cooper.
i think with the days off till game 3 and the fact the bolts won game 1 they just let hedman sit tonight. they need him healthy if cernak is out long term, possibly lose the battle to win the war...

Imagine if the Leafs lose again with TB having no Hedman and no Cernak. Oh, the horror.
I would imagine they give it 110 percent tonight and find a way to win BUT if they don't that probably means the goalie shit the bed again and they would have to go with Woll to save their asses this series. Could you imagine that? With all that talent needing Joseph Woll (I know some people say he's actually a decent goalie) to bail you out going forward.

“Stick tap”. LOL. He broke his f***ing hand.

Yeah, they happen 20 times per game but that’s the shit that should be penalized. The stick play that is allowed in this league is a joke and it benefits the less skilled players while decreasing the quality of play on the ice.

The Piles are the ONLY team EVER to get screwed by the refs. Uh huh.

ESPN's coverage continues to be such a f***ing joke. Buchigross is giving play by play of the Bogosian/Gio fight, but the camera is showing Corey Perry.
The WORST decision ever made to go back to ESPN. They always sold hockey short, pretty much ignoring it. Back in the day if you were waiting to see the hockey scores, they didn't show it until the very end if they showed hockey scores at all.

ESPN is also a lot less relevant now than it was in the 90s.
