The Rangers, Bruins and Leafs made all of the win now moves before the trade deadline. The Rangers and Bruins were eliminated last week. Toronto is next. Florida made the trades for Giroux and Chiarot last season. They beat the Caps in 6 but the Caps gave them a tougher matchup than expected. TB swept Florida in the next round. No moves at the deadline this season. Florida is one win away from the ECF. You can say it worked for the Avs last season with Lehkonen and Manson. Trading a million futures with six weeks remaining in the regular season alters the team chemistry. Not a big fan.
Florida literally had no draft capital to trade. If they had a 1st, it'd be safe to say they would have traded for a LHD.

It makes me laugh that 1st overall and 2ed overall picks I see for other teams and those players do well. Rangers get 1st overall and 2ed overall and those players do nothing 🤣🤬🤣🤬🤣🤬

Eberle has just been playing out of his mind

These guys are absolutely rifling them and ours put up muffin after muffin

It's possible that the Stars' minds are elsewhere given the tragedy that just took place in their market, but Oettinger is really letting his team down.

A couple of the goals that have gone in on him tonight have reeked.

They are simply getting owned by a team that is relentless. They did a good job in Game 2 and 1 period tonight of covering them but the Kraken are running wild

So can we all just agree that playoff hockey is just luck? The Panthers are about to sweep Toronto after taking down the greatest team ever assembled. An expansion team is scoring at will against the best goalie in the league.

Panarin missed a breakaway in OT in game 3. What do these playoffs look like had that gone in?

There is ridiculous parity in this league. Every playoff team is good. It’s bounces, inches, and hot/cold streaks that decide who wins the Cup.

I guess that’s why we love it?

Absolutely. There's just so many variables, and so many games in hockey playoffs that, it really does become a matter of bounces in many cases.
Good teams will have an advantage, but that certainly doesn't mean guaranteed wins. especially when you add in the insanity that it is NHL goaltending
