I still think Carolina will outspeed Boston

Boston was outclassed by Columbus for most of that series. Carolina is just as talented. Boston doesn't stand a chance to win the series, but the games will be close. Their depth will finally be exposed for the shit that it is

Her first few weeks of life my wife and I averaged 90 mins of sleep.

It's.....been......BRUTAL

I have a newborn as well, 7 weeks today. There have been nights where 90 minutes was all I have gotten and other where she will sleep for 5 hours. Just a roller coaster so I feel your pain.

Yet again, the NHL proves what a joke it really is. I'm 99% certain that puck was over the line. Even if it wasn't, how did the officials in Toronto not stop play to at least look at it.

Other than Bishop, Dallas didn't deserve to win, but they still have a pretty strong argument that they actually won the game.
The announcers, analysts and we all here can be absolutely sure any goal was actually "IN", but if it is NOT visibly seen past the goal line (whether live or replay) then it is presumed NOT a goal.
I think there has been only ONE time (that I know of) whereas there was no proof......and yet still called it a goal (by assumption) again, that I know of, and obviously I have not witnessed every game.......just saying.

He is an inconsistent career backup. 2.5 games doesn't change that. I will say though that if anybody has the defense to mask a mediocre goaltender, Its the Canes.
Yeah, you can say that again. How many goals did Slavin rob the Rangers of? How many vs the rest of the NHL? Amazing.

Everyone is looking past the worst thing about Dallas losing, it’s not about the draft pick, it’s about possibly Webster coming back here now:sarcasm:
Maybe he made some "solid friends" there? I mean, he wasn't there long enough to piss off even the most devoted Dallas fan. Or.......was he? Wouldn't put it past him. Lol.

I have no problem with any of that. But it was at least worth a review, no? It was only double OT of game 7.

If they aren't challenging then you know their video coach looked at it already...and the NHL looks at stuff like that, the war room would call down to ask for time to look at it...it looked pretty conclusively not in to me.

I'm starting to think our WPG pick moving up just one spot isn't worth the B's winning so I'm starting to think pro- Sharks here
The only way it would be worth rooting for Boston, is if......we knew "our guy" was going to be taken, right before we get to pick. Chances are slim, therefore "F" the "B's"

Was absolutely blown away that it wasn't, you can be sure of that. I mean, for sometimes meaningless regular season games being held up for a goal review......and this wasn't? Makes it look really bad for the league and possible shannanigans that might be going on. Look right and be right. My motto. The NHL would do themselves justice there.
Lets see......
There was that 5 minute major on Vegas that wasn't and cost them elimination.
There was a major on McAvoy that wasn't.
There was that possible game ending goal that wasn't even looked at (at least by viewer conception)
There was a game 7 in which featured a "penalty free" home game by the Blues (imagine that)
Oh, and arguably 5 prohibitive favorites to reach conference finals (Caps, TB, Winnipeg, Calgary & Nashville) went down in the 1st round........hmmmm.
Leaving nothing but longshots (Carolina, Colorado), 2 teams that have NEVER won a Cup (Blues and Sharks).....And then there is every NHL fans nightmare of yet ANOTHER Cup for the most spoiled fanbase in all of the U.S. and another stupid grin from Milbury's two faced pathetic face.

6 weeks....you can make it!

My daughter (second child) wouldn't sleep longer than 20-30 minutes at a shot her first 6 weeks of life. Always crying and wanting to eat every 20 minutes. We'd go a 24 hour period without getting ANY sleep. By the time we'd nod off she'd be up for more. And it was our second so we had minimal assistance because we (thought) we were pros. 6 weeks came and she started sleeping normal amounts (2-3 hours per shot). It was such a crazy period I can't even remember my son, almost 2 at the time, even existing for those 6 weeks.

Only hockey I've tuned in for this playoffs have been the 3rd and OT 1 and 2 last night. Benn was trying so damn hard....and it looked it, poor guy. Far as I know Spezza was a healthy scratch as well. Whenever Zucc was on the ice and Dallas managed to hang on to the puck for 20+ seconds something good seemed to happen. Really could have used CK last night on his other wing to help gain possession and open up some ice.

You guys are making my decision to have a second kid much more difficult to follow thru on. We were super lucky with our first, don’t want to tempt fate.
